Going off of the idea inspired by the MUCEM Museum of having a skin that would imitate water ripples to give a foreshadowing of what the future looks like - water on the floor.
Here we see how having a cutout perpendicular to the wall isn't going to produce a pattern on the ground. Perhaps this skin exists on ceiling of the top floor as a foreshadowing of what could be downstairs (a sunken world). Or it may be foreshadowing in the room itself. In this case the pattern would be on the walls, perhaps the pattern extends over the whole skin of the building.
Here we see that having the pattern cut through a wall at an angle is far more effective, we start to get a pooling of light ripples at this experiment of 30 degrees. I plan to have the ripple pattern far smaller but this experiment is a proof of concept.
