once i had determined programming, i was able to refine this and break it down into some rough plans to iterate on. this allowed me to start to break down my generalised programming into rooms, divisions and expand on some previous concepts and my parti.

these louvres not only allow for open plans enabling students and staff to flow and interact when needed, but also mean that staff can see through the building, enhancing safety of the children. the louvres also help the building to blend in, they imitate the ash tree trunks that surround the building.
