Giving Back.
As discussed previously in regards to the local architecture and cultures, the bastion has become a hub for cultural and artistic activity as well as education of what the fortifications are and their purposes and roles.
My building aims to give back to it's community through influence and education. It aims to educate people on what their future could look like. The bastion walls show the defence of the past, how those generations took action. My building aims to show the way we are going and act as a catalyst for change - to stop Portsmouth from sinking.
