there are several components which are structural to my building. the panoramic glass helps to take a load however due to the green roof having significant weight, concrete is required to help. the volumes within are concrete cladded in ash wood. this helps to support the roof. i have also added concrete columns between the curved sections of glass (not single panes of curved glass but multiple narrower and frameless panes).
i have also added a supporting wall which also provides shade at the entrance to the playground (lower left).
