Taking inspiration from both my Foxes Forest Nursery as well as the NYC High Lines project, green areas can be integrated into pedestrianised zones using paths.

I really like how the NYC High Line tackles this, employing masses of green vegetation as well as grasses, gradiating this into the flooring. The high line incorporates woodlands and greenery as well as well as sundecks and lookouts. it is a true communal space.
These paths can be integrated on an urban level, they will encourage a flow and can be integrated into the architecture itself to improve circulation. This only helps to bring the massings into the street and integrate the urban into the architectural epicentre.

Through green rooves and communal areas on top of the schemes architectural stage - the epicentre, we can drastically improve the amount of greenery within the areas and improve communal functions further.
