Following my sketches and AI experimentations, I massed out a rough idea of what a more angular volume could look like with satellites and photoshopped it quickly into the valley.
From here, I really do like the idea of trying to interact with where the dam interacts with the valley.
I do think exploring the ZHA style of introducing some curves and flow to the journey could make for an interesting massing as I would love to "climb" up the dam towards that end. I think that could make for some interesting architecture given the dam is convex, thermally and solar, this could be interesting to try and harness or interact with.
