As previously discussed, concrete is necessary for the main portion of the building. However, this does not mean we have to use the same concrete everywhere. I plan to introduce contrast through the use of rough and smooth finishes. Smooth finishes will be found inside with a lighter tone. This will make the building seem strong and protective but also more comfortable to be inside.
